Dr. Arun K. Garg, DDS, is a nationally and internationally recognized educator and surgeon whose career has significantly influenced modern dentistry, regenerative medicine, and clinical education. Often referred to as the “Expert to the Experts,” Dr. Garg brings decades of academic and clinical experience to his role as a Dental Advisory Affiliate.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Garg served as a full-time Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as Director of Residency Training at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. During his tenure, he trained countless surgeons and clinicians, establishing a reputation for excellence in education, mentorship, and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Garg is internationally recognized as a leading authority on bone biology and is the co-discoverer of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), a groundbreaking innovation now widely used in aesthetic medicine, facial rejuvenation, regenerative therapies, and surgical healing. His contributions laid much of the scientific groundwork for biologic treatments utilized across dentistry and medicine today.

Dr. Garg completed his engineering and dental degrees at the University of Florida and his residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
