Ricardo M. Perez, DDS, is an internationally recognized speaker, educator, and pioneer in dental aesthetics and dental spa integration. He is the founder of Cosmetic Dental Spa and trains dental practitioners worldwide on successful dental spa implementation, as well as the therapeutic and aesthetic uses of BOTOX® and dermal fillers within dental practices.

Dr. Perez opened his first dental practice in 1994 and, in 2000, redefined the patient experience by founding Cosmetic Dental Spa, becoming a leader in the integration of dentistry and spa-based wellness services. As a co-founder of the first dental spa network, he has been an innovator in the field of dental and medical spa services for more than two decades, helping shape the modern dental spa model used today.

With the rapid growth of injectables in dentistry, Dr. Perez has experienced a significant rise in demand for therapeutic injectable treatments in his own practice. He regularly treats conditions such as temporomandibular disorders (TMD), facial pain, angular cheilitis, and other functional concerns, while also incorporating injectables to enhance restorative and aesthetic dental outcomes. His approach emphasizes comprehensive care that blends function, aesthetics, and patient comfort.

At DentaSpa Seminars, Dr. Perez serves as a nationally certified Botox and dermal fillers trainer. His teaching philosophy extends beyond procedural instruction, focusing on how practitioners can effectively and ethically implement injectable services into their practices. Over the years, he has successfully utilized therapeutic Botox treatments to optimize complex restorative cases and improve patient quality of life.

Dr. Perez is among less than 5% of dentists who have completed extensive hands-on training in both cosmetics and occlusion. His advanced education includes Functional Anterior Esthetics, Ultimate Occlusion, Occlusion II, and Full Mouth Synergy. He also lectures for Novalar on the clinical applications of OraVerse®.

Dr. Perez is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), DOCS, and the International Congress of Osseointegration, a founding member of the Medical Spa Association, and a Board Member of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics (IAFA). He is a graduate of UCLA and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
