Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS, is a highly respected National Injectables Trainer with 24 years of nursing experience and nearly 15 years specializing in aesthetic medicine. She earned her nursing degree in Indiana and began her career in women’s health, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care, safety, and clinical judgment before transitioning into advanced aesthetics.

Shanna has extensive training and hands-on experience across a broad range of aesthetic procedures, including Botox and dermal filler injections, advanced laser treatments for face and body, body contouring, skin tightening, photofacials, and medical-grade skincare. Her comprehensive clinical skill set allows her to approach aesthetics holistically, combining technology-driven treatments with customized injectable plans. She is also highly skilled in conducting detailed, informative consultations that support individualized, safety-focused outcomes.

She has served as an Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) Trainer for over eight years, educating and mentoring some of the top dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and healthcare providers throughout the United States and Canada. Shanna is recognized as one of the first nurses in the U.S. and Canada to train practitioners in PDO sutures for soft tissue re-approximation and PRF applications, positioning her as a leader in early adoption of advanced aesthetic techniques.

Licensed in 33 states, Shanna maintains a national educational and clinical presence. She has been selected to serve on the ISPAN Scientific Session Planning Committee for the past four years and, in 2019, was honored with a position on the ISPAN Board of Directors. She is also faculty for ISPAN and the Los Angeles Multi-Specialty Cosmetic Academy (LA-MCA) meeting.
Clinically, Shanna practices in San Francisco, where she works alongside Dr. David W. Kim, a facial plastic surgeon and ENT specialist, delivering advanced, safety-driven aesthetic care. Her depth of experience, national leadership, and dedication to education make her a valued faculty member within the injectables community.
