Dr. Shawn Cabbell, DDS, is a National Injectables Trainer who brings a fresh, innovative perspective to cosmetic and facial aesthetics. A seasoned clinician and entrepreneur, he has owned and operated five dental practices, including a full-service dental spa. He currently practices full time between offices in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, providing him with broad clinical insight across diverse patient populations and practice models.

Dr. Cabbell brings valuable first-hand knowledge and real-world experience to his training, helping practitioners new to injectables gain confidence, refine technique, strengthen treatment planning skills, and successfully incorporate facial aesthetic treatments into their existing practices. His teaching approach is practical, strategic, and grounded in daily clinical application, making complex concepts accessible and actionable for providers at all stages of their aesthetic journey.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing with honors from Howard University, giving him a strong foundation in business development, branding, and patient communication. Dr. Cabbell received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, and continued his advanced clinical training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the VCU Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Cabbell is a Board Member of the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics (IAFA), reflecting his leadership role and ongoing commitment to education, mentorship, and advancement within the field. He embraces digital technology as a powerful tool in modern aesthetic dentistry, utilizing advanced digital scanning, image morphology, and visual enhancement techniques to help patients visualize how neuromodulators and dermal fillers can enhance facial balance and appearance.
